- Operation L&P busts 101 in prostitution and child sex sting (2015) - Starting in March 18, 2015 Lake and Polk county sheriff's offices conducted an undercover cybercrime prostitution and child-sex sting which ended in the arrest of 101 individuals. 22 of the individuals were caught trying to meet with undercover officers posing as girls between the ages of 10 and 14.
